Coventry City full back Milan van Ewijk is not closing in on a move to Fulham, despite speculation to the contrary.
The Dutch defender, who has shone during more than a century of appearances for the Sky Blues since arriving from Heerenveen two years ago, has been a long-term target for the Whites and has also interested Everton, who have scouted him extensively over the past few months.
But suggestions that the 21 year-old is close to completing a move to Craven Cottage are well wide of the mark, as BBC Sport reporter Mantej Mann has tweeted this morning. Fulham sources have told us that the club have not made an offer for van Ewijk and that the Whites are currently looking at alternative targets.
