Fulham have been handed a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion on the opening weekend of the 2025/2026 Premier League season.
The Whites’ opening game of the new campaign will take place at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday 16 August, kicking off at 3pm. Further fixtures remain subject to television picks but Fulham’s first home fixture sees them welcome Manchester United to Craven Cottage a week later before Marco Silva’s side round off the opening month of the campaign with a trip to Stamford Bridge.
In a change to the previous fixture programme, Fulham are not currently scheduled to play on Boxing Day – with their London derby at West Ham United scheduled for 27th December, although that could change depending on future broadcasting picks. Fulham will take on champions Liverpool at home on 3 January, whilst Chelsea will visit the Cottage in a midweek meeting four days later.
Silva’s side will finish the campaign with a home fixture against Newcastle United on Sunday 24 May.

Not the best! We have to play 7 teams that finished above us last season in the first 9 games. Not looking forward to driving to Manchester twice and Sunderland within the space of 22 days
I’m concerned on two levels. Firstly, the Premier League looks stronger as a whole than it did last season. I can’t see Leeds’ ownership messing about in the summer given the comments the chairman has made post-promotion.
Secondly, as CB as mentioned above, the first nine games look very tough and the run-in isn’t much better. This makes an acceleration of our summer recruitment vital, but there’s no news on any signings as yet.
I’m pleased with a trip to Brighton near my birthday, but the rest looks a bit brutal. Liverpool and C****** back to back is going to be interesting. We desperately need to get recruitment settled and the team training together.
The opening fixtures are tough but we have played better against the top teams and let ourselves down against ‘easier’ opposition. Here’s a thought: what don’t we save the club around fifty mil and start playing Josh King and Luc De Fougerolles. Both have played for the first team and acquitted themselves admirably – Josh is another of those players that score for fun and Fig Roles has a good head on his shoulders – reminds me a lot of Sir Robert Moore. Some may say: too soon – I would argue: let’s see. As always COYW!!!
