Fulham have confirmed this afternoon that they will face Eintracht Frankfurt in a pre-season friendly at Craven Cottage on Saturday 9 August, kicking off at 5pm.
Eintracht, who won the 2022 Europa League, finished third in the Bundesliga and qualified for the Champions’ League on the basis of their league position for the first time in the club’s history. The two teams previously played a pre-season friendly in Austria ten years ago, with the Germans emerging 1-0 winners.
Marco Silva’s first team squad will also travel to the Algarve for a summer training camp that will take place between Friday 25 July and Saturday 2 August. The pre-season tour will contain a number of matches, with Fulham’s official website stating that at least two should be played in front of fans in Faro, but that further details will be confirmed in due course.
