Fulham have offered Kenny Tete improved terms in a late attempt to prevent the Dutch right back from joining Everton on a free transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 29 year-old’s five season stint in SW6 appeared set to come to an end earlier this week when he agreed to sign for the Toffees on a free transfer. That still seems likely, but Fulham have tabled a new offer to try and keep their first choice full back at Craven Cottage. The news follows reports earlier this afternoon that Tom Cairney could also remain with Fulham for a further year following a breakthrough in the captain’s contract discussions with the club.
