Fulham are set to sell Andreas Pereira this summer with a return to Brazil looking the most likely destination for the midfielder, according to a report from Teamtalk.

The former Manchester United attacking midfielder angered Marco Silva by publicly eulogising about a move away from Craven Cottage last winter and he is not interested in extending his contract in SW6. The 29 year-old, currently on international duty with Brazil, has his sights set on making the national squad for next summer’s World Cup and has been heavily linked with a return to his homeland.

Palmeiras saw two offers for Pereira rejected in January – and may well return with a third bid. Flamego, where Pereira was on loan before he moved to Fulham from Old Trafford, are also interested in signing the playmaker and are believed to have held preliminary discussions about a permanent transfer with Fulham. The Whites are holding out for a substantial sum for a player who has been key to their Premier League progress since returning to the top flight under Silva. Pereira has scored ten goals and made 22 assists in 119 appearances but ended the season out of Fulham’s starting line-up.
