A Give Me Sport report this evening suggests that the Fulham hierarchy are lining up five big signings this summer as they prepare to back head coach Marco Silva.
Dean Jones, the outlet’s senior transfer correspondent and a Fulham season ticket holder, reveals that the Whites have not ruled out a Craven Cottage return for Joao Palhinha, whom Bayern Munich have made available for transfer this summer. The Portuguese midfielder has struggled for form and fitness since moving to Germany twelve months ago and both the player and Silva would be interested in a reunion in SW6.
Give Me Sport say that senior Fulham sources are prepared to make five signings before the September transfer deadline as Silva weighs up how to revamp his first-team squad over the summer.
Great the club backing Silva. Palhinha prise would have to be right had lots of injuries since left feel we need younger players. Was great first season with us 2nd season didn’t hold so well on occasion ran about like headless chicken. Would it upset balance of side we’ve moved forward. Berge and Lukic done well do need cover good younger players
I’d love to see João back at our cottage however I do agree with Daniel. Money needs to be spent in other positions
Centre forward and a creative midfielder and maybe 2 fullbacks for cover
Bayern will want to recoup some of the money they spent on him a year ago and I think this will encourage the likes of Man Utd and Westham to splash the cash more readily
With Khan leading the transfers i doubt any major signing will happen. It is all smoke and mirrors with Khan. Why have no serious offers been tabled for these big signings yet ?.
We need to see actual serious offers for big players that Silva needs to improve the squad. A highly regarded Centre Forward who can score 20+ goals a season, a quality centre back and a decent right back are also needed.
I believe that we will see more journeymen players arriving towards the end of the transfer period just as we have had for several seasons.

Totally agree with the above there will be know BIG signings If TK has is way the big signings were meant to keep Silva at the club but who knows and push on to the next level and once again he probably been fed a load of bullsxxx if your not a big club with no Europe option I doubt whether there will be marquee signings just journeymen as mentioned above
