Fulham are audaciously aiming to beat Manchester United to the signing of Gent striker Tolu Arokodare, according to the Sun.
The 6ft 4in Nigerian international scored 23 goals for Gent in all competitions last season and is high on Fulham’s list of potential signings as they seek to strengthen their striking options ahead of the new season. The Whites have held positive talks with the 24 year-old’s new representatives and believe they can make an attractive offer to the former Valmiera forward, who is keen to ply his trade in the Premier League.
United are still trying to tempt Viktor Gykores to Old Trafford and the Whites are sought to steal a march on their fellow suitors, with Arokodare’s fellow Nigerian internationals Callum Bassey and Alex Iwobi already at Craven Cottage. Arokodare, who has scored 40 goals in 105 games for Gent, is valued at around Ā£15m.
Make an offer they can’t refuse.
We need to hurry things up if we hope to sign him.
Donāt expect anything If TK is involved with this then it wonāt happen wait until 10:00pm of transfer window then will we signs panic buy but sadly Marco would have resigned by then
if we want him get on and sign him instead of leaving it too late finishing with the left overs..
