Fulham have resurrected their interest in Coventry City wing-back Milan van Ewijk, according to Sky Sports News.
The 24 year-old Dutch defender has been a long-term Fulham target and is now into the final two years of his current contract at the Ricoh Arena. The attack minded right back has made a century of appearances for the Sky Blues, scoring four goals, since making a £3.4m move from Heerenveen in 2023.
He starred as Mark Robins’ side did the double over Fulham in their Championship-winning campaign of 2021/22 and Frank Lampard remains desperate to keep the former ADO Den Haag defender beyond the summer. Speculation that van Ewijk was about to join the Whites earlier this month proved wide of the mark
Sky Sports suggest that Fulham are exploring the conditions of a potential transfer as they line up alternatives for Kenny Tete, whose Craven Cottage contract expires today. The report also claims that the Whites are also interested in signing Ipswich Town full-back Ben Johnson.
Looks like Kenny is leaving then . Still no updates on Cairney
Zoe, he definitely didn’t star for us in 2021/22 season. We bought him it 2023 with the Vik and Gus money.
Even if Tete stays we still need competition for a right back so I think we should sign him.
