Harry Wilson has been recalled to the Wales squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Belgium.
The Fulham winger, who has scored four goals and added two assists in six games during Craig Bellamy’s unbeaten start as national team coach, returns to the squad having missed the opening two qualifiers after breaking a bone in his foot in January.
Bellamy has also called up former Fulham full back Neco Williams – outstanding for Nottingham Forest as they qualified for Europe this season – winger Dan James, who won promotion back to the Premier League with Leeds earlier this month, and Cardiff’s teenage right back Ronan Kpakio for the first time.
Wales face Liechtenstein at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday 6 June before travelling to Brussels to take on top seeds Belgium on Monday 9 June.
