Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira has been recalled to the Brazil squad by new manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The former Real Madrid head coach, who took over as Selecao head coach earlier this week, included Pereira, Casemiro, Antony, and Richarlison in his squad for next month’s pair of World Cup qualifiers which sees Brazil play Ecuador and Paraguay on June 6 and June 11. The Italian has left out the likes of Rodrygo Goes, Neymar, Militao, and Joelinton.
Pereira, who told the Brazilian press this weekend that he had not made any decisions about his club future after agitating for a move away from Fulham before the winter transfer window, has won senior caps for his country, scoring two goals. The 29 year-old is desperate to make the Brazilian World Cup squad for next summer’s tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Ancelotti takes over with Brazil’s place at those finals in doubt, as they occupy fourth place in the qualifying table after losing five of their fourteen matches to date.

Think Ancelotti needs to go to Specsavers!!
They must be desperate to want him.
Hmmm! Interesting who he’s included but equally interesting who he’s left out.
