Fulham midfielder Josh King has been included in the England squad for this summer’s European Under 19 Championships in Romania.

The eighteen year-old midfielder, who came off the bench to help create crucial goals from Tom Cairney and Harry Wilson as the Whites won a thrilling derby at Brentford yesterday, has been named in Will Antwi’s 23-man squad for the tournament, which gets underway on June 13. King, who has made ten senior appearances for Fulham this term, has previously captained England at under-16, under-18 and under-19 level.

The young Lions have been drawn in Group B along with Germany, the Netherlands and Norway. England’s campaign will get underway against the Norwegians in Ploie?ti on June 14 before they tackle the Germans in Bucharest on June 17 and finish their group games against the Dutch on 20 June in Bucharest. The top two sides from each group will then contest the semi-finals.
