Fulham winger Harry Wilson has completed a whole week of full training at Motspur Park after recovering from his broken metatarsal, according to the Standard’s Dom Smith – and the Welsh international could return to Marco Silva’s matchday squad for Sunday’s SW6 derby with Chelsea.

The 28 year-old has been out of action since breaking a bone in his foot during the Whites’ narrow defeat at home to Manchester United in January and the Whites decided not to risk his fitness at Bournemouth on Monday night. Fulham’s fitness coaches are much happier with Wilson’s stamina after he completed a week of full contact training with the first-team squad yesterday, meaning that the former Liverpool wide man could be back on the bench as Silva’s side seek a first league double over their local rivals this weekend.

Wilson, who headed Fulham’s equaliser in the Boxing Day win at Stamford Bridge, has been in sensational form for club and country this season. He has scored five times – and added two assists in 21 appearances for the Whites this term, whilst contributing crucially to Craig Bellamy’s unbeaten start in charge of the Welsh national side, finding the net four times – and making one further goal – in six Nations’ League starts for his country.
