Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno insists that Fulham want to keep their FA Cup going after his sensational saves at Manchester United secured a spot in the semi-finals for the Whites.

The German goalkeeper kept out penalties from Victor Lindelof and Joshua Zirkzee to exorcise the ghosts of a contentious last eight defeat at Old Trafford two years – and set up a London derby against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage later this month.

Speaking to the BBC after the final whistle, Leno said:

Two years ago we lost here in the quarter-final and now we’re in the quarter-final again. We want to go to Wembley – one hundred per cent. [It is] Unbelievable. I think we deserved to win after ninety minutes. Of course, penalties, it is sometimes a lottery and luckily we won. The goalie coach told me information, but my feeling is more important. I went the wrong way three times, but credit to our penalty takers – it is not easy. Brilliant job from all of us.”
