Fulham have been drawn away to Manchester United in the FA Cup fifth round.
The Whites will travel to Old Trafford on the weekend of March 1st and/or 2nd in a repeat of the quarter final clash from 2023 that saw Marco Silva’s side lead for 70 minutes before they were undone by three sending offs in a minute and end up being beaten 3-1. United, who need a late, late Harry Maguire header to beat Leicester City last Friday night, have been beaten the Whites twice this campaign – with Joshua Zirkzee’s strike defeating the Cottagers on the opening night of the campaign in August and a deflected winner from Lisandro Martinez delivering a vital – and fortunate – three points for the Red Devils at Craven Cottage last month.
Fulham, who edged past League One Wigan Athletic thanks to a brace from Rodrigo Muniz, will need to repeat last season’s success at the Theatre of Dreams to remain in with a chance of emulating Alec Stock’s heroes from the 1975, who reached the showpiece final to take on West Ham at Wembley.

Of all the draws our bogey team away. Both times these season been better side and lost, not even saying we were great. What a fluke there goal was by that horrible little dirty runt . Love to them all over us Leno outstanding and Traore fluke the winner
Think if we put the 1st team out we have a good chance. They are nothing special. We have 7 points more than them, scored more goals than them and conceeded less. COYW
If we can learn to close out the game rather than let in sloppy extra-time goals (that this season have effectively cost us a European spot), then why not?
It’s time to put an end on their luck against us! COYW
Third time lucky maybe. Could have been a lot worse – Plymouth away for a start. Agree with CB that we need to put out a strong team. No Benda for a start. At least we won’t be facing ‘Rattus Argentinas’ this time, although an ACL injury to the Portugese rat would have been more fortuitous.
We need to get into their faces from the start show them no respect we might at last get a bit of their ongoing luck they have had for the last thirty years every time we’ve played them we have been the better team so maybe our names on the cup this year hang on though the FA love them to bits so they will appoint a bias ref possibly Chris Cavanagh there time has gone now it’s ours COYW
Poor Elliott – an utterly innocent handball at Plymouth. Third time lucky at the Theatre of nightmares. COYW.
