Fulham have confirmed the signing of seventeen year-old midfielder Seth Chingwaro from Manchester City for a fee believed to be in the region of £750,000.
A technically gifted midfielder Chingwaro, who was born in south London, had been at the City academy since the age of eleven and has returned to the capital, where he previously represented Colin Omogbehin’s Junior Elite FC. He made his under-18 league debut for Manchester City towards the end of last season.
Chingwaro told Fulham’s official website:
“It’s a great feeling to join Fulham. I’m really looking forward to the opportunities here and pushing on to hopefully make the first team in the future. I’m a creative player. I like to play in pockets, get on the ball and dribble with it.”
