Fulham fans will joining our friends at West Ham United in a continuation of the Football Supporters’ Association’s Stop Exploiting Loyalty campaign at the London Stadium ahead of tonight’s London derby.
Andy Payne, the chair of Hammers United, has co-ordinated a series of cross-club campaigns before matches aimed at raising awareness of West Ham’s egregious ticket pricing. Whilst this is a Premier League-wide problem, there is no doubt that West Ham and Fulham are two of the division’s worst exponents of price-gouging – and supporters’ organisations across the country are concerned that clubs could follow the Tottenham model and remove concessionary rates for older supporters.
If you are in East London early this evening, do come along and join other members of the Fulham family, including representatives from the Fulham Supporters’ Trust, to remind the suits to stop exploiting loyalty and remember match-going fans. The pre-match meet-up will take place at the Aquatics Centre – which is in front of the London Stadium and opposite the exit to Westfields Stratford – at 6.45pm.
There is more information about the campaign on the FSA’s website, which is well worth a look, whilst we’d continue to urge Fulham fans to join the Fulham Supporters’ Trust.
