Fulham have made an offer to sign Partizan Belgrade’s teenage striker Dusan Jovanovic, according to reports from Serbia.
The well-connected Mozzart Sport, which broke the Whites’ interest in appointing Slavisa Jokanovic weeks before he was confirmed as Kit Symons’ permanent successor at Craven Cottage, has the details on the Cottagers’ pursuit of the 18 year-old forward dubbed ‘mini Mitro’.
The 6ft 8in Serbian youth international, who was born in Smederevo like Mitrovic, has scored 43 goals in 73 games for Partizan’s age-group sides, including three goals in four appearances in the UEFA Youth League. The Serbian giants could be forced to sell their prized asset owing to their current financial predicament with Jovanovic understood to be open to the prospect of continuing his development in England.
6Ft 8in??? More like a maxi mitro – with cheese!
6ft8inc and still fast enough to play on the wing – surely we are overflowing with u21’s and 18’s who can’t get a game as it is
Size is confusing.
Traore is built like a weightlifter.
The only thing he lifts, apart from the ball over the bar, is himself off the floor every time he runs too fast with the ball
Why aren’t we looking for players who can step into our first team and make a difference. Silva doesn’t play our youngsters so why bring more in , king is a good example.
I don’t understand why we looking in recruiting young kid’s. We will never make the top 5 spot.Once again it seems as though we are lacking ambition or we simply don’t want to
spend…
Wake up Tony Khan !
