Three former Fulham Ladies players have accused the club’s former manager and head of community development Gary Mulcahey of grooming and sexual assault.
Ronnie Gibbons, Deena Rehman and their former team-mate identified as Claire have told the Athletic that Mulcahey abused them whilst they were playing for the club and that the police failed to act on their concerns. The Athletic suggest that Mulcahey was sacked by Crystal Palace when these allegations came to light in 2021, although Mulcahey has strenuously denied any wrongdoing.
