Fulham midfielder Kristian Sekularac has been nominated for the PL2 player of the month award after scoring three goals in the first month of the season.

The Swiss under-21 international was at the double as Fulham’s under 21s thrashed Reading 5-1 in their opening outing of the campaign before opening the scoring against Leicester City in the Cotttagers’ second league game of the season.

The former AC Milan midfielder will have to beat Joshua Ajala (West Ham United), Aaron Bott (Nottingham Forest), Khayon Edwards (Arsenal), Jack Fletcher (Manchester United), Kyle McAdam (Nottingham Forest), Lewis Orford (West Ham United) and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji (Arsenal) to win the award.
