Fulham’s under-21 side have been confirmed as participants in the new National League Cup – a competition that will pit PL2 academies against National League sides.
The 32-team tournament has been devised with the aim of providing youth players with another opportunity to boost their development, with four groups of eight proceeding a sixteen side knockout phase to produce the first winner of the competition.
The young Whites’ four group fixtures are as follows:
Tuesday 1st October, 7.30pm: Maidenhead United (A)
Tuesday 5th November, 7pm: Wealdstone (A)
Tuesday 3rd December, 7pm: Woking (A)
Tuesday 21st January, 7pm: Aldershot Town (A)Â
