Blackburn Rovers remain interested in taking Fulham winger Martial Godo on loan in January after a deal didn’t materialise in the final hours of the transfer window last weekend.
The 21 year-old had a medical with the Championship club on deadline day but the Whites opted to keep him at Craven Cottage after Jay Stansfield’s £15m switch to Birmingham City went through. Godo, who enjoyed a superb loan spell with League One outfit Wigan Athletic last season, has since signed a new year-four deal at Craven Cottage.
Alan Nixon reports this morning that Rovers are eager to revive a possible a loan move come the New Year, but a clutch of other clubs retain an interest, including Millwall.
I see what you did there.
Good for Godo
So l understand why Jay left to get first team football, but surely Martial Godo must be kept as third choice striker. Or are we backing Vini to stay as cover ….whilst l thought Vini didn’t deserve some of the stick he got as his strike rate wasn’t that bad moving on surely we should beleaning towards Godo as cover
