Fulham full back Devan Tanton enjoyed an excellent debut for Chesterfield in their 1-1 draw against Swindon Town last night.

The Colombian international, who only signed for the Spireities on a season-long loan on Monday, was voted as the Chesterfield man of the match by Derbyshire Times’ football correspondent Liam Norcliffe in his post-match player ratings. The 20 year-old was praised for his determination and defensive diligence as well as his attacking instincts.
