Fulham have finally completed the capture of Arsenal winger Emile Smith Rowe for an initial fee of £27m this afternoon.

The deal to sign the England international could rise to £34m should certain performance-related add-ons be activated and the 24 year-old has signed a five-year deal at Craven Cottage. Fulham hold an option to extend that contract by a further year should they wish to.

Croydon-born Smith Rowe leaves Arsenal having made 115 appearances for the Gunners and scored eighteen goals. He has won three senior England caps, scoring for Gareth Southgate’s side in San Marino.

Smith Rowe told FFCTV this afternoon:

“I’m finally here, so I’m really happy for me and my family – it’s a good moment. I’m really excited, I just wanted to get here as quickly as possible so I could get going with my teammates. Listening to the project, speaking to the manager, and seeing what players we have here already, I think it’s an exciting project for me, and definitely the perfect step for my career going forward.”
