Marco Silva saluted the ‘decisiveness’ of Adama Traore after the winger’s close range finish rescued a point for Fulham at Ipswich Town this afternoon.

The Fulham boss told his post-match press conference at Portman Road:

He created some good moments for other players, he is in good shape, he is helping the team and the reason why he is playing is because he can be decisive for us if he can take the right decisions.”

Silva said he was satisfied with a point but bemoaned a lack of a killer instinct in the final third once again.

It was a tough game against an aggressive side. They have great support which demanded us to win duels and beat the pressure. In the first half, we did this better than the second. They scored a goal in a moment where we looked comfortable and we should have done better [defensively].

The reaction [to going behind] from us was good, we scored a good equaliser and after that we took a step forward and were completely in control. We should create a lot more when we are on the ball, we have to be more effective in our build up and have more chances to score.”
