Spanish defender Jorge Cuenca joined Fulham from Villarreal in a deal worth an initial £6.7m in August 2024. The versatile defender, who can operate at left back or centre back, won the UEFA Youth League with Barcelona in 2018 and has made more than a century of first-team appearances in Spanish football. Cuenca made his debut in the 1-0 League Cup win at Birmingham City in August 2024.
