Fulham have rejected an offer of £21.4m from Marseille for attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira, according to reports in Brazil.

O Globo says that the bid followed an approach from the Ligue 1 club’s new boss Roberto de Zerbi to the Brazilian international but that Fulham are not interest in selling the 28 year-old. The Whites rejected Marseille’s approach out of hand and did not name an asking price for the former Manchester United midfielder. Fulham are not prepared to consider selling another of their prized assets during this window and Marco Silva regards Pereira as pivotal to his plans for the coming season.

Pereira is understood to be happy at Craven Cottage – and told the Evening Standard earlier this month that he feels the move to SW6 two summers ago was the best decision of his career.
