Fulham have rejected an offer of £21.4m from Marseille for attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira, according to reports in Brazil.
O Globo says that the bid followed an approach from the Ligue 1 club’s new boss Roberto de Zerbi to the Brazilian international but that Fulham are not interest in selling the 28 year-old. The Whites rejected Marseille’s approach out of hand and did not name an asking price for the former Manchester United midfielder. Fulham are not prepared to consider selling another of their prized assets during this window and Marco Silva regards Pereira as pivotal to his plans for the coming season.
Pereira is understood to be happy at Craven Cottage – and told the Evening Standard earlier this month that he feels the move to SW6 two summers ago was the best decision of his career.
Why the hell do we want to sell him,if we do its a massive step back
The article says three times we don’t want to sell him John
Take it seriously John for goodness sake
Sell him with 28 years old, buy a new Brazilian box to box player with 23 years ” Andre ” from Fluminese is a good deal.
Sell him he doesn’t create enough or score enough for a number 10
No pace either
I would sell him for nothing less than 30 million as we have Emile who can play the 10 role and reinvest the money in Andrade and a left winger.
Minimum of 38 /40 million . He is a current Brazilian international. Then we can get a decent replacement but not McTominay.
