Fulham are considering a move for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson in the closing days of the transfer window, according to Teamtalk.
Marco Silva has admitted the Whites are looking for a winger to round off their summer signings and the 24 year-old is thought to be available for transfer. Nelson made just one league start last season and, although he came off the bench during last weekend’s 2-0 win at Aston Villa, Mikel Arteta is prepared to let the winger leave to secure more regular first-team football should a suitor meet Arsenal’s valuation.
The former England under-21 international has scored eight goals in 90 appearances for the Gunners but has been linked with a departure for much of the summer. West Ham United and Leicester City were interested in signing the talented winger but pursued other options after baulking at Arsenal’s £20m valuation.
Nice player never had many chances to start with Arsenal, feel 20m prise a bit high. But what do I know in today’s mad world.
