Fulham have tabled a £12m offer for Lyon’s attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki, according to the Athletic’s Peter Rutzler.
The French under-21 international has been a long-standing Fulham target who the Whites tried to bring to London last season. The 21 year-old, who is now in the final year of his contract at Lyon, has been training apart from his team-mates over the past week and has attracted interest from Fulham, Crystal Palace and a number of continental clubs.
Chekri, who made his senior debut at the age of sixteen, has made 141 appearances for Lyon and has won 21 caps for his country at under-21 level. He was part of the French Olympic squad that won the silver medal at this summer’s Games in Paris.
I.Can’t.Breathe
Have aliens taken over my football club, what’s happening!?!
Know Mark they haven’t will still looked after by the great Khans our club is safe
I would prefer a striker but hey…
Some player. He would light up the Cottage but he’s a right sided player so does this mean Pereira is on the way out?
Fingers and toes crossed for this one.
The new Moussa Dembele.
If we get him and Andersen and Berge it will be our best transfer window that I can remember, finally we can push for a top six well done Marco.
Being greedy, but Berge, Anderson, this guy AND A DECENT Striker would be a great transfer window.
We need a striker!!!
To replace Pereira who to me blows hot and cold for 35 million if anyone would pay that for him looks good for the future
I fear this one may just be paper talk and has no credence. I believe we previously made an enquiry for him,but Cherki wants to play for a team competing in Europe. I hope I am wrong. I think we need a left footed player, unless we have received a good offer for Periera who like John W I have mixed feelings about
