Nottingham Forest will test Fulham’s resolve to hang onto Andreas Pereira in the closing days of the transfer window, according to a Daily Mail report this morning.
The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with moves to Marseille, Juventus and Chelsea over the course of the summer but Marco Silva remains determined to hold onto one of his most consistent performers. Fulham turned down an approach and later a bid from Marseille and the former Manchester United man has reaffirmed his happiness at Craven Cottage in an interview with the Evening Standard.
The Mail’s Sami Mokbel suggests that Forest are plotting a move for Pereira before Friday’s deadline as their attempt to bring Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah to the City Ground has fallen through. The 28 year-old has two years left on his current contract and has started both of Fulham’s matches so far this season.
If we can get about 35 million for him in the next 2 days would be tempted to accept. He blows hot and cold . With Lukic now showing his worth and either Smith Rowe or Iwobi could play in his position as long as we buy another forward
He is the best chance maker in the league . Not sure we can make too many changes now . Best to extend his contract and review again next year
Anyway, why would he choose Forest over us? Hardly an advancement in his career.
Why go to Forest ?
He is far better off at Fulham.
We must keep him
Andreas is a great player & sets the tempo for the team in the attack and build up through the middle of the field, Great at set pieces plus great competitive option to Emile but also compliments playing along side him. He has come in for a lot of unconstructive comments from a minority of the Fulham fan base regarding goals & assists. Great player and will be a massive factor in our success this season.
