Hibernian are poised to seal a permanent deal for Fulham forward Kieron Bowie, according to the Daily Record.

The Scottish under-21 international is set to undergo a medical at Easter Road having agreed a four-year deal with Hibs after they tabled ‘a significant six-figure package’ to secure Bowie’s return to Scotland. Hibernian are understood to have beaten off interest from Barnsley, Wrexham, Northampton Town and Wigan Athletic to sign the former Raith Rovers starlet.

Bowie, who broke into the Raith first team at the age of 16 before moving down south to Fulham, enjoyed two excellent seasons on loan at Northampton. He scored fourteen goals in 85 appearances for the Cobblers, helping Northampton win promotion into League One and then establish themselves at that level the following season. Bowie has also made seven appearances for Scotland at under-21 level, scoring four goals.
