Fulham have revived their interest in Fluminense midfielder Andre after the departure of Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich, according to BBC Sport.
The Portuguese international’s move to Germany has left Marco Silva in dire need of a replacement at the base of the engine room. The Whites were close to signing the Brazilian international last summer and have the fundamentals of a £25m in place following negotiations that were personally led by chief executive Alistair Mackintosh.
Andre, aged 23, helped Fluminense lift the Copa Libertadores title last summer and has since been capped by new Brazil boss Dorival Junior. There are suggestions in the Brazilian press that the midfielder’s representatives are poised to fly out to London to cross the is and dot the ts on the final agreement.
We are struggling to fill positions as usual relatively late in the day when there is hardly time for one friendly… but let’s see! COYW
Fingers crossed, sounds promising
Here we go again! We had all this last summer with nothing materialising.
Smith Rowe AND Andre???
Too good to be true, surely
Really hope we start to make some moves soon. Less than a month to go.
Our players are back in training and as usual we haven’t bought in any new addition’s why am I not surprised when Tonkey is running the show.
Don’t worry everybody, I have it on good authority that within the week, Greaves, Hurst, the Charlton brothers and Pele are due to sign. Well done Tony Khan!!
As usual no signings how much longer have we got to suffer this man TK he will destroy Fulham which I think is his aim then walk away his Dad is to blame for giving his little lad the job just waiting for deadline day to get loan players no other team wants we won’t get McTominay we are not a big club or Smith Rowe either we are just a feeder club for the big clubs
GET A MOVE ON!!
