Versatile defender Bradley Slade made his under 18 debut as a substitute against Brighton and Hove Albion in August 2022 and, after signing a scholarship, was promoted into the under-21 set up to feature against Feyenoord in the Premier League International Cup the following year. Having signed his professional contract in the summer, Slade shone as the under-21s beat Shrewsbury Town 2-1 in the Football League Trophy earlier this season.
