Sasa Lukic’s Serbia crashed out of Euro 2024 at the group stage after a disappointing goalless draw against Denmark in Group C.

The Serbians, who seized a stoppage time lifeline through Luka Jovic’s late leveller against Slovenia, saw a goal correctly disallowed for offside and were unable to get the goal they needed to keep their feint hopes of making the knockout stages alive.

The Danes, for whom former Fulham centre back Joachim Andersen featured in defence, progressed to a last sixteen meeting with host nation Germany.
