Hull City are interested in taking Fulham forward Jay Stansfield on loan, according to reports in this morning’s press.
HullLive claim that the England under-21 international is at the top of the Tigers’ summer transfer target list having starred at Birmingham City last season. A move for the talented striker seems set to fail, however, with Marco Silva keen to involve Stansfield in his first-team squad this season.
Having publicly stated he intends to include Jay in the first team this year, why would we be listening to loan offers? It’s probably not even true.
Sites like HullLive aren’t even real media outlets. It’s the same organisation who just copy/paste a “news” site for every major city they can think of, and post nonsense to get clicks, where you find they are loads with ads. They’re just trying to drive ad revenue. Best ignored.
Well said AL…
On the player himself do you think he’s going to make it in the Prem.?
I think one could see it in Elliott, Carvalho and Sessegnon …I thought O’Riley too…maybe having that extra bit of time or pace or something undefinable.
I wish him the best whatever
I have no idea if he’s good enough to play in the Prem. but old softy that I am I’d like to see him given his chance. If we can incorporate a ‘ home grown’ player into the squad I feel it’s a win/win.
Think I’m with AL, most likely more spurious white noise.
Got to give him a try. As of above Carvalho and Sessgenon not really proved they can do it in premiership yet
At least Jay will give his best and like Muniz could come good. We will know by January if Jay is up to the demands of the PL , if it doesn’t work out he can loaned or sold.
