Sky Sports are reporting this evening that Spanish side Atletico Madrid are eyeing a summer swoop for Fulham attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Atleti had an initial enquiry knocked back by Fulham in January and they are mulling whether to test the waters for the Brazilian international again during the close season, although Sky suggest that Pereira’s preference would be to remain in the Premier League.

The former Manchester United youngster has blossomed under Marco Silva since leaving Old Trafford in August 2022 for £10m and has scored six goals in 76 appearances as the Whites have firmly established themselves in the top flight. Pereira has two years to run on his current contract – and Fulham are understood to not be countenancing cashing in on the 28 year-old.
