We understand that Fulham have had a loan bid for centre forward Armando Broja rejected by Chelsea.

The Albanian international has been a long-term Fulham target and appears to have softened his stance on leaving Stamford Bridge after Mauricio Pochettino laid out his plans for the remainder of the season. The Blues are seeking a sale to improve their FFP position and facilitate the arrival of a new striker before the end of the January transfer window – but they would accept a loan with an obligation to buy.

Fulham, who are seeking striking reinforcements before deadline day, tabled a loan offer with a £20m purchase price but the two sides are some way about on their valuation of Broja. Chelsea placed a £50m asking price on 22 year-old earlier in the season, but could drop their asking price in respect of a potential future fee.
