Fulham full back Devan Tanton made his senior international debut tonight as Colombia beat Venezuela 1-0 in Florida in an international friendly.
The 19 year-old was a surprise call up to Néstor Lorenzo’s squad due to a number of injuries and came on as a second half substitute as the Triocolour extended their unbeaten run to fifteen fixtures. Victory was secured by Carlos Andre Gomez just before half-time and Tanton, who has been outstanding for Fulham’s under 21s over the past few months, helped keep a clean sheet.
