Andreas Pereira insists that Fulham can’t ‘take our foot off the gas’ when they welcome Burnley to Craven Cottage tomorrow afternoon.

The Brazilian believes the Whites will be buoyed by their penalty shoot-out success at Everton on Tuesday night, but told FFCTV that it is vital for Marco Silva’s side to continue their fine home form if they want to continue climbing the Premier League table:

“I’m looking forward to [getting back to the Cottage] because the last two [home] games have been brilliant and we just want to finish this year winning our home games. We just want to finish this year winning our home games – so it’s very important to us. We are very satisfied from the last two games at home, we have to continue playing like that, we don’t have to take our foot off the gas and we have to aim to win all of the games at home.

I’m happy trying to help my team-mates as much as possible, giving assists and I think I should score a few more goals, but I’m sure that will come. I’m very curious [to play Burnley] because when I played against them before, they were very direct with a different style of football. Now, they try to play [out] from the back, so it will be a very interesting game. We don’t underestimate them, they have very good players, they have a manager with a lot of experience playing in the Premier League. We have to respect them, of course, but we know our quality and we are in a very good moment – so we have to continue in that moment.”
