After the events of the summer, we should probably take every Talksport transfer rumour with a sizeable serving of salt but the radio station links Fulham with a January move for Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
The story itself appears to be speculation as it suggests the success of any Fulham pursuit would depend on whether the Foxes were still in the running for an immediate return to the top flight and if Dewsbury-Hall, who has been with Leicester since the age of eight, is still in Enzo Maresca’s plans. The classy 25 year-old has scored twice in nine games so far this term – and, being under contract at the King Power Stadium until 2027, would cost a pretty penny in the new year.
It is also questionable whether Leicester would countenance selling a key player who has admirers right across the Premier League. As you were.
Not a chance we would sell him. Unless a fee if say £100m were offered. Long term contract, player happy at our club…I very much doubt he would move to a smaller club.
He would be a great signing.
No way should this even be considered
I cannot see this being anything other than just another rumour with no legs whatsoever. Leicester look like winning promotion at nothing more than a canter, having retained much of their squad. This lad has been there since he was eight and his manager (and fans it would seem) value him highly – why on earth would he even contemplate leaving The Foxes. I’m sure Marco has players in mind to replace Joao – Boy Khan will just have to get his finger out between now and January…
