Fulham’s under 18s suffered their first defeat of the season this morning as they were well beaten by West Ham United in a London derby in Romford.
The Hammers went in front from the penalty spot ten minutes before half time when Jemiah Umolu drilled home from twelve yards after Logan Cooke was penalised for a foul in the penalty area. The hosts made it two seven minutes later as Ryan Battram buried a back post header from Blaise Uwandji’s free-kick and substitute Josh Ajala rounded off the scoring nine minutes from time when Eddie Nsasi committed a foul in the box.
