Queens Park Rangers are keen on signing Fulham forgotten man Terence Kongolo as they look to shore up their leaky Championship defence, according to the Athletic’s Peter Rutzler.
The Dutch international, who has made four appearances in four years at Fulham, spent the second half of last season on loan at French club Le Havre, making fifteen appearances. The former Huddersfield man is into the last twelve months of his Craven Cottage contract and hasn’t played a first-team game since Marco Silva succeeded Scott Parker.
Austria Vienna are interested in loaning the 29 year-old as cover, but Kongolo is believed to be keen to remain in London and wants regular first-team football. His ability to play at left back or centre half is an attraction to Rangers boss Gareth Ainsworth, whose side have lost four of their five games this season, and failed to keep a clean sheet.
This guy hasn’t played many games for fulham but he was always injured never known anybody to be injured so much
Get rid of him Injury prone Cut our losses and save on thewages bill. He has been a complete waste of space
QPR’s current form is woeful. To help them solve it, as well as a centre back who never plays, would they be interest in a Brazilian striker who never scores?
