Jon Esenga has been a highly-rated member of Fulham’s academy for some time as evidenced by the fact that the club picked him to join the under-18 squad for the prestigious FC Aesch under-19 tournament when he was only 15. A diligent and dependable performer for Fulham’s academy sides, Esenga made his professional debut in a 3-3 draw at Fratton Park against Portsmouth in the EFL Trophy in August.
