Fulham’s under-21s will begin the new-look Premier League 2 campaign with a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers next Friday after the fixtures were revealed this afternoon.
The young Whites, who will be managed by new head coach Hayden Mullins, will play twenty games against twenty different opponents as the PL2 switches to a league format featuring all the FA-accredited Category One academies before the winners are decided by a knockout phase towards the end of the season.
Fulham begin on the road at Wolves on Friday 11 August before taking on the holders Manchester City, who have dominated the under-21 competition in recent years, at Motspur Park on Friday 18th August. Mullins’ men round off the month by travelling to Crystal Palace on Monday 28 August.
