Fulham’s first summer signing Raúl Jiménez was introduced to the crowd at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando just before kick off in the Whites’ second Summer Series fixture against Aston Villa last night.
The Mexican international, who completed a £5.5m move from Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this week, got a warm reception from a crowd who had braved a 80-minute delay after local lightning strikes. Jimenez hopes to feature in Fulham’s final fixture of their pre-season tour: the SW6 derby in Maryland on Sunday afternoon.
