Position: Goalkeeper
Talented goalkeeper Oscar Varney was a star in the early academy age groups and has progressed into a modern goalkeeper, who is an excellent distributor of the ball with his feet. A measure of how highly Fulham’s coaches rate Varney’s potential came when he was handed an under-21 debut as a late substitute in the 4-0 win over Leicester City in October despite not yet appearing for the under-18 side. He signed a two-year scholarship in July 2023.
