Fulham are one of a number of sides interested in signing Ivory Coast international Jonathan Bamba this summer, according to reports from France.
The 27 year-old left winger is a free agent having come to the end of his contract with Lille, for whom he scored 29 goals in exactly 200 appearances. He was part of the side that lifted the Ligue 1 title in 2021 and then helped Les Dogues reach the Champions’ League knockout phase the following year.
Bamba has been linked with moves to Lens, Lyon and Marseille but has also attracted interest from Fiorentina. A report from teamfootball.fr this afternoon suggests that the winger is intrigued by the idea of moving to the Premier League and that Fulham have already made contact with his representatives. The Whites are seeking reinforcements in the wide areas following the departure of Dan James and Manor Solomon, with Brazilian veteran Willian have turned down an extension to his short-term deal at Craven Cottage.
