Young Fulham goalkeeper Luca Ashby-Hammond has completed a season-long loan move to Crawley Town, the club have confirmed this afternoon.
The 22 year-old custodian is keen to continue his development having been ever-present on loan at Aldershot Town last season. Ashby-Hammond, who has been part of the Fulham academy set-up since signing for the club aged eight, is expected to compete for the number one jersey with the League Two side.
Crawley manager Scott Lindsay told Town’s official website:
“Luca is a goalkeeper who is well thought of at Fulham, so I am really pleased to get that one done. He is going to really push Corey for the number one shirt, which is exactly what we want, as every goalkeeper needs competition.”
