Willian’s wonderful strike against Nottingham Forest has been selected as one of nine efforts in the running for the Premier League’s goal of the season award.

The Brazilian winger, who has reignited his career since moving to Craven Cottage on a free transfer in September, has already been recognised for the goal that gave Marco Silva’s side the lead against Forest in February – as he won the goal of the month vote in that month.

The 34 year-old is up against Allan Saint-Maximin, Ivan Toney, Miguel Almiron, Demarai Gray, Michael Olise, Jonny, Matheus Nunes and Julio Enciso. The winner is decided by the result of a public ballot, which runs until 6pm on Friday. You can vote for Willian here.
