Position: Centre back, left back, right back
Sam Tabares signed for Fulham’s academy from Broadfield College after a successful trial last year. Formerly part of Swindon Town’s academy, the tall centre back made his under-18 debut in a 6-1 win over Aston Villa in February 2023. A physically strong defender, who can play in any position across the back four, Tabares is also excellent in possession and has quickly become one of the first names on Ali Melloul’s teamsheet.
