Marek Rodak was delighted to help Fulham through to the fourth round of the FA Cup by keeping a clean sheet at Hull City.

The Slovakian international started the season as Marco Silva’s number one but was displaced by summer signing Bernd Leno after just two matches. Rodak made a number of excellent saves as the Whites rode their luck at times to avoid a potential banana skill at the MKM Stadium and he told FFCTV after the final whistle:

“It was a good win for the lads and, for me, after a long time, I played for Fulham so I was happy. I was happy with my performance, getting through to the next round and it was a good game. I made a couple of good saves. I felt really good in the game, especially after a long time. It made me happy that I played well.

It was hard [to be dropped], especially after two games. I kept my head down and tried to wait for my next game and I tried to be ready. I keep positive. I think we played quite well. We are enjoying it at the moment. Everyone in the dressing room wants to keep going and do our best.”
